The artwork is inspired by an Amazonian legend which speaks of Jaci, the moon goddess who touched the night with light. Naiá dreamed of joining the stars and followed the moon’s glow across mountains and water. Honouring her devotion, Jaci transformed Naiá into a living star of the waters: the giant Amazonian water lily.
