What is the Pride of Yorkshire campaign?
We’re proud to be sponsoring Sheffield Children’s Hospitals Charity’s “Pride of Yorkshire” sculpture trail – part of an ambitious campaign to raise £20m to transform Sheffield Children’s Accident and Emergency Department.
Originally built in the 1970s, the Accident and Emergency Dept provided care to just over 24,000 patients per year. Today, it sees over 62,000 patients per year – that’s around 168 children and young people a day.
Through Pride of Yorkshire, Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity hopes to create a more welcoming, engaging, and calming environment for children and families receiving emergency care when they need it most.
The trail runs from 8th June to 7th September 2026 and features 150 life-sized lions and lionesses, and 150 cubs (celebrating 150 years of Sheffield Children’s Hospital) across Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, and Doncaster.
Come and meet The Catpack King!
The Catpack King lion will be on display at Triple Point Brewing from 8th June to 7th September 2026.
So, if you’re completing the trial, make sure you swing by ours to check him out and show support for an incredible cause.
Meet our lion
The Catpack King by Bubba 2000.
As a little indie brewery full of cat (and dog) lovers, we’re pretty excited to be welcoming The Catpack King to our beer garden this summer.
Designed by Sheffield street art legend Bubba2000, our lion is part of the Pride of Yorkshire trail supporting Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity.
The full-sized lion is available to see from Monday, 8th June – taking front and centre in our Sheffield-based beer garden!
Meet the artist
Bubba 2000 is a Sheffield-born stencil artist whose distinctive spray-painted artwork can be found on buildings across Sheffield, London, and beyond.
Once a DJ in the 90s, now a familiar face in the Sheffield art scene!
Bubba 2000 is best known for his iconic cat designs and celebrity portraits – yes, that includes the famous Jarvis Cocker portrait!
His ongoing project, “The Catpack,” features a series of felines appearing across the city, inspired by his own kitties, Mufty and Ty.
The Catpack King brings together elements from The Catpack project to date, transforming them into a life-sized lion that will be displayed at our brewery.
