Fisherking is our 4% pale ale inspired by one of Sheffield’s lesser known stories: the return of kingfishers to the Sheffield rivers as water quality improved. A remarkable moment for our lovely green city! Expect bright flavours of orange, grapefruit, and marmalade.

For this beer we challenged illustration students at Sheffield Hallam University to design our next beer around a “Hidden Sheffield” brief.

With over 80 submissions, a public vote, and difficult decision later, Anna Moore’s winning design was chosen to bring the story of Sheffield’s returning kingfishers to life.
